Privacy Policy

InsightsQL is operated by Fortunepixel, LDA, a company incorporated in Portugal ("InsightsQL", "we", "us"). We take a simple position on privacy: your data is yours, we collect as little as we can, and we never sell it. This policy explains what we collect and why.

This policy covers both our marketing website (insightsql.com) and the InsightsQL platform, which runs on customer subdomains of insightsql.com. For platform customers, the data you upload is additionally governed by our Terms of Service and, where signed, a data processing agreement: there, you're the controller and we're the processor, acting only on your instructions.

What we collect

• Account information. Your name, email address, and company name when you sign up, or when you book a demo or call through Calendly, our scheduling provider.
• Customer data. The research data, documents, survey files, and connected sources you upload to the platform. This data belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service, following your instructions.
• Usage data. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics on our website. It doesn't collect personal data or track you across sites.
• Support communications. Emails you send us, so we can help you.

How we use it

To provide and improve the service, respond to support requests, and send you essential service communications. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your data for advertising.

AI processing

InsightsQL uses large language models to analyze your data. Your data is never used to train AI models: not by us, and not by our model provider, with whom we have an agreement that prohibits training on your data.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in the European Union, on Amazon Web Services in the eu-west-1 (Ireland) region. We use a small number of subprocessors to run the service; the current list is published on our Trust page.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Email support@insightsql.com and we'll handle it promptly. If you delete your account, we delete your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in Portugal, that's the CNPD.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete data or close your account, it's removed from our systems, and from backups within 30 days.

Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
